When you call our emergency line, a dispatcher triages your situation immediately. A technician is routed to your location with diagnostic tools and common replacement parts, no waiting until morning, no callbacks, no voicemail.

On a no-heat call the first checks are the ones that fail most often. We confirm the thermostat is calling for heat, check that the gas valve is open and the pilot or igniter is working, look at the flame sensor, and read any fault code the board is holding. A dirty flame sensor or a cracked igniter is a same-visit fix. A failed inducer motor or a control board usually is not, and we say so on the spot rather than after a second trip.

On a no-cool call in July the usual causes are a tripped breaker, a failed run capacitor, a frozen evaporator coil, or refrigerant that has leaked away. A frozen coil means the system has to thaw before anything can be measured, so we start that immediately and use the time to check filters, blower speed and condensate drainage while it clears.

Gas odour is handled differently. If you can smell gas, leave the space and call the utility before you call us. We do not ask anyone to wait in a building with a suspected leak. Once the utility has made the area safe we test joints, check the heat exchanger for cracks, and confirm combustion is venting properly before the appliance goes back into service.

Flooded equipment is common in basements and cellars after heavy rain. Anything submerged gets isolated from power first. Gas valves, control boards and blower motors that have been underwater are replaced rather than dried out, because a motor that runs today after a soaking is not one you can rely on next week.

If a permanent repair requires parts or extended work, we stabilize the system on-site so your space stays safe and functional, then schedule the follow-up at the earliest available slot. Stabilizing can mean temporary heat, restoring partial cooling, or safely shutting down and capping a line so nothing worsens overnight. Either way you know before we leave what is fixed and what is still outstanding.
